ABOUT USAction for Sustainable Development (ASUD)
is a Malawian non-profit organization established in 2013 to promote sustainable development solutions that address food insecurity, environmental degradation, public health challenges, and livelihood vulnerability.
ASUD works directly with communities, local institutions, and development partners to design and implement practical, evidence-based interventions that improve resilience and well-being among marginalized and vulnerable populations across Malawi.
Our approach combines environmental protection, sustainable agriculture, nutrition, health, and community empowerment to deliver lasting impact. As we also aim;
- To protect the environment in urban and rural communities.
- To improve food security and nutrition among vulnerable communities.
- To enable vulnerable households to become economically self-sustaining.
- To reduce the impact and spread of HIV/AIDS.

Accountability & Funding ASUD is funded through grants, partnerships, and project-based support from development partners and donors. The majority of resources are directed toward program implementation, ensuring maximum benefit to communities.
We maintain strong financial controls and reporting mechanisms to ensure funds are used responsibly and in line with donor requirements.
