ADHERENCE TO ARV TREATMENT IS PARAMOUNT

Failure to treatment adherence has been a common practice for most of the teens and the youth living in Nkhorongo. With the coming of ASUD/Egmont Currently, the situation has improved. Lackson Mzembe is among the teens that used to default the up-take of the ARVs. Since the introduction of the teen club support, Lackson has realized that he was making a mistake by defaulting and that he was putting his life at a risk. “Through attending several teen club sessions facilitated by different health personnel at Nkhorongo Health Centre, I have learned much about the dangers of defaulting and from now onwards, I will adhere to treatment”.
